Chelsea is an energetic, fifteen year-old cowgirl with lots of heart who has a love for traditional western music. Chelsea is active in 4-H. She was raised in rural western Oklahoma. Chelsea enjoys drawing, yodeling, playing the guitar and hanging out with her friends.

 

Chelsea developed a love for classic western music when entering a talent competition in 2004 with "Cowboy's Sweetheart" by Patsy Montana. Chelsea began her pursuit of western music thanks to her dear friend and idol, Janet McBride ; the International "Yodeling Queen"; who some of you may know as LeAnn Rimes' yodeling coach. Chelsea has performed many places in 8 states including Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Colorado New Mexico Wyoming, Connecticut and Missouri.

 

Chelsea is a member of the Academy of Western Artists and won the 2007 AWA Will Rogers Award for Western Music Yodeler. She is also a member of the Western Music Association, American Kids and Cowtown Opry of Ft. Worth, Texas, where she shares her talents and learns about our Western Heritage. She believes it is not only important to entertain, but also to keep our Western Heritage ALIVE because....
